The family company of US President Donald Trump plans to build a new skyscraper under the Trump brand. This time, the building will be constructed in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, reports The Wall Street Journal.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the Trump Organization and its partners intend to build Trump Tower Tbilisi. According to a source, it will be a multi-functional project of approximately 70 stories, making it the tallest building in the Georgian capital.

The tower will feature luxury residential units, retail space, and hotel infrastructure.

The project is being designed by the architectural firm Gensler, with support from a consortium that includes the Georgian real estate company Archi Group and Biograpi Living, which is part of a Georgian conglomerate.

According to a representative of the Trump Organization's partners on the project, the New York-based development company Sapir Organization (a former partner of Trump) is also involved.

The WSJ writes that since the start of Trump's second term, the Trump Organization has increasingly focused on international licensing and branding deals as a key part of its business. However, critics argue that such foreign projects create potential conflicts of interest.

The US leader's son, who also serves as the company's executive director, Eric Trump, has previously denied claims that the Trump Organization's foreign activities represent a conflict of interest, stating that business operations are separate from the policies of the White House administration.

Returning to Tbilisi, the project's press release also quoted Eric Trump as saying that this project will bring the company's globally recognized standard of quality to Georgia.

Other interesting facts about Trump's plans

A few days ago, Donald Trump criticized a federal judge who ordered a halt to the construction of a ballroom in the White House. This concerns a $400 million project that Trump has been announcing for a year.

According to the US leader, the ballroom would be a great gift to America, as it would allow future presidents and leaders to safely host large-scale events. It will include bomb shelters, modern hospitals and medical facilities, as well as secret military installations.

In addition, a week ago, the Trump administration unveiled a project to build a 76-meter triumphal arch in Washington. The initiative has already been submitted to the Commission of Fine Arts for consideration.
