US Presiden backs Orban again and promises economic boom for Hungary

US President Donald Trump has promised Hungary economic prosperity if the country continues to be led by current Prime Minister Viktor Orbán after the elections, according to his post on Truth Social.
"My Administration stands ready to use the full economic might of the United States to strengthen Hungary’s economy, as we have done for our great allies in the past, if Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and the Hungarian people ever need it," Trump said.
He added that the US is happy to invest in a future of prosperity, which, according to the US leader, will be ensured thanks to continued Orbán leadership.
Elections in Hungary and US support for Orbán
Parliamentary elections will take place in Hungary this weekend, effectively deciding whether Viktor Orbán continues as the country's prime minister.
Recently, Politico reported that US President Donald Trump is throwing his full weight behind helping Orbán remain in power. In particular, US Vice President JD Vance flew to the country to support the prime minister.
During his visit, Vance stated that Trump and Orbán have made the greatest contribution to efforts to end Russia's war against Ukraine.
Vance called Trump at a campaign rally, and Trump publicly confessed his love to Orbán.
