Trump ally Laura Loomer says Zelenskyy would not stop Russian imperialism

Removing Volodymyr Zelenskyy from power or holding new elections in Ukraine would not stop Russian imperialism, according to American far-right activist, blogger, and supporter of US President Donald Trump, Laura Loomer.
In her view, it does not matter whether Zelenskyy is Ukraine’s president or not.
That is because Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s goal is to seize Ukraine.
He would then seize Poland, Latvia, and Lithuania and pave his way across Europe.
“People obsess over personalities too much. You could have an election in Ukraine tomorrow, and Putin would still find a reason to be at war. Russia INVADED Ukraine. Not the other way around. Zelenskyy’s removal from office won’t stop Russian imperialism. It’s not about Zelenskyy. It’s about Putin. It’s always been about Putin,” Loomer stressed.

Laura Loomer is an American far-right political activist and blogger known for supporting US President Donald Trump.
She has repeatedly drawn attention for her provocative statements and promotion of conspiracy theories. American media have also reported on her influence over certain personnel decisions within the Trump administration.
In July, Loomer visited Ukraine, where she spoke with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and saw firsthand the consequences of Russian aggression.
Later, the blogger said she had been wrong in her previous statements about Ukraine because she had been influenced by Russian propaganda. Her attitude toward Ukraine and Zelensky changed dramatically.
