The Total Solar Eclipse on August 12 will coincide with a New Moon in Leo. According to astrologer Kateryna Solovyova, its influence will vary from person to person: some should be especially cautious, while others may get a chance for positive changes.
She told what to expect from the eclipse.
When the Solar Eclipse will occur on August 12 – exact time
At 8:37 p.m. Kyiv time, the exact New Moon phase in Leo will occur. Ten minutes later, at 8:47 p.m., the exact phase of the Total Solar Eclipse will take place.
The natural phenomenon will be visible either fully or partially over the Arctic Ocean and northern Atlantic Ocean, in parts of Europe, western and northern Africa, and North America.
Solovyova notes that the first hour after a Solar Eclipse is usually considered favorable for planning the future. However, this time, the astrologer advises against doing so.
The reason is that on August 12, the Moon will be void of course from 8:37 p.m. until midnight. In astrology, this period is associated with the risk of making the wrong choice, inattention, and situations where efforts fail to produce the expected result.
Therefore, it is better not to start anything important that evening, make major decisions, or make significant purchases. The astrologer also advises against relying on new offers and ideas that arise during this period.
Who will experience positive changes from the Solar Eclipse
The most interesting forecast concerns people born during certain periods of the year:
- April 8–14
- June 9–15
- October 10–16
- December 10–16
According to Solovyova, these people may have a chance to experience favorable changes. However, the nature of these changes will depend on their individual birth chart and which of its elements are activated by the Sun and Moon during the eclipse.
Who should be especially careful
The astrologer advises another group of people to pay closer attention to events during this period. This includes those born:
- February 6–12
- May 8–14
- August 9–15
- November 9–15
According to Solovyova's forecast, the eclipse may primarily affect areas related to children, health, creativity, romantic relationships, entertainment, public speaking, and prestigious positions.
What else will this Eclipse bring?
The astrologer advises paying attention to which sector of an individual's birth chart the transiting Sun and Moon will occupy during the eclipse. According to her, the most important events of this period may be connected to that area of life.
Solovyova explains this through the need to work through karmic situations. If a person responds correctly to circumstances and successfully goes through this stage, the corresponding area of life may reach a new level of development.
At the same time, according to the astrologer's forecast, the influence of the Eclipse Corridor may not be limited to a single day. Its effects on a particular person may become apparent over several months or even several years.
