Thailand has accepted an invitation to participate in the upcoming peace summit, which will be held in Switzerland from June 15-16, according to Thai PBS.

A source said that Thailand will be represented at the summit by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Russ Jalichandra.

Additionally, Thailand expressed support for all initiatives aimed at a swift and peaceful resolution of the situation in Ukraine.

Thailand will join more than 100 countries in discussing ways to end the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Peace summit

From June 15 to 16, Switzerland will host the Global Peace Summit. Leaders from over 150 countries will gather to discuss the peace formula proposed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Notably, Russia did not receive an invitation to this inaugural summit. The organizers decided against inviting Russian representatives, believing their presence could negatively impact the constructive search for solutions and hinder the achievement of peace objectives.

Earlier, Singapore also confirmed its participation in the peace summit.
