A Tesla robot in Texas attacked an engineer, causing injuries, reports Daily Mail.
The robot allegedly assaulted a person working on the software of two Tesla robots. It pressed the man and then latched onto him with metal claws on his back and arm. A bloody trail was left on the factory floor. Emergency shutdown buttons had to be pressed by factory workers.
In the injury report for the year 2021 filed in Travis County and federal regulatory agencies, it was revealed that the incident at the Tesla factory resulted in an open wound on the person's left arm. Additionally, according to sources, in 2022, every twenty-first employee suffered an injury on the job.
Tesla has not reported any injuries related to robot operations at its Texas factory in 2021 and 2022. Nevertheless, this incident has drawn attention to growing concerns about the safety of automated robots in the workplace.
