Tank crews wipe out Russian troops in Kupiansk sector

A T-72 tank crew of the 77th Brigade destroyed a group of four enemy troops.

It is noted that the enemy group was first detected by reconnaissance of the 77th Brigade. The occupiers attempted to take positions near a residential building in one of the settlements.

To eliminate the threat, the brigade promptly deployed a T-72 crew. From a distance of 9 kilometers, the tankers carried out five precise shots. The entire enemy group was destroyed.

"In the area of responsibility of the 77th Brigade of the Air Assault Forces, the enemy systematically attempts to advance in small groups and establish positions at certain points. However, thanks to the prompt and precise actions of the 77th Brigade, these attempts are doomed to fail," the press service of the 7th Corps of the Air Assault Forces emphasized.

Fighting near Kupiansk

Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region was under Russian occupation. It was liberated in the fall of 2022.

Recently, the analytical service DeepState reported that the Russians managed to enter Kupiansk through a gas pipeline. Head of the Kupiansk district military administration Andrii Kanashevych denied that the invaders had entered the city.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the occupiers are using a pipeline near Kupiansk to attempt to infiltrate the city. According to the military, the pipeline’s exit is under the control of Ukrainian defenders. The pipeline does not lead directly into the city.
