Spanish volunteer dies in Ukraine's war
In Ukraine's war died volunteer from Spain died - a 26-year-old Catalan named Pu, according to ABC.
According to diplomatic sources from the news agency, the young Catalan passed away several days ago, and his body will be repatriated.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in contact with the family, who were promptly notified. Through the Spanish Embassy in Kyiv, they will receive any necessary administrative assistance.
Pu arrived in Ukraine alone. As soon as he crossed the border, he underwent military training required for combating Russian invaders. However, he was not the sole Spaniard enlisted in the Ukrainian forces.
In May 2022, twelve Spaniards joined the Foreign Legion, fighting alongside the Ukrainian army. Three months after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, they reached a point on the Polish-Ukrainian border. From there, foreign volunteers headed to a military training camp in Yavoriv, near Lviv.
Nearly two years after the war's inception, the exact number of Spaniards fighting on Ukraine's side remains unknown.

Ukraine and regularly provides military assistance.
Specifically, Spain has transferred to Ukraine four refurbished Leopard 2A4 tanks, 20 armored personnel carriers, and a field hospital.
