Russian troops attacked several regions of Ukraine with strike drones from five directions overnight, December 1. Most of the enemy targets were shot down by air defense units, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

"On the night of December 1, the enemy attacked with 89 Shahed and Gerbera strike UAVs and other types of drones from the following directions: Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia, Chauda, Crimea, about 55 of them were Shaheds," the Air Force said in a statement.

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 a.m., air defense forces shot down or suppressed 63 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country.

At the same time, 26 strike drones were recorded hitting 9 locations.

Attack on Ukraine

Explosions were reported in the Odesa region. According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, enemy attack drones were also recorded in the Sumy, Kyiv, and Chernihiv regions.

Last night, Russian troops also attacked Vyshgorod in the Kyiv region with attack drones. As a result of the attack, 19 people were wounded, 11 of whom were hospitalized.

It also resulted in destroyed houses and fires. There were also fires and destruction of private houses, as well as damage to parked cars.
