Series of explosions in Sumy: partial power outages reported in city

        On the night of August 27, explosions were heard in Sumy, followed by partial power outages. Earlier, the military had warned of a drone threat, according to Suspilne Sumy and the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The first explosion was heard around 01:08 AM Kyiv time, followed by several more; reports suggest there were more than four in total. At the same time, information appeared about power outages.
"In some districts of Sumy, power went out," Suspilne wrote at 01:14 AM Kyiv time.
Earlier, the military had reported Shahed drones detected in the eastern Sumy region heading west.

As of 01:25 AM Kyiv time, the air raid map showed alerts continuing in Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions.
