Serbian finance minister Darko Glišić suffered a stroke during a live television broadcast. He is currently hospitalized, according to Blic.

The incident occurred on August 6 during an interview on the Serbian channel TV Pink. Glišić suddenly felt unwell, and the broadcast was cut off.

Videos from the live stream were shared online. The footage shows the hosts visibly concerned about the minister’s condition, who continued speaking despite his health issues.

SNS party leader Miloš Vučević visited Glišić in the hospital on Sunday, August 10.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić also visited Glišić on Thursday, August 7, after the minister underwent surgery. According to Vučić, the minister is still having difficulty speaking but is able to move his right arm and right leg.

Recall that in April 2023, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan fell ill during a live broadcast. Later, media outlets circulated rumors that Erdoğan had suffered a heart attack. However, the Turkish president stated that he was experiencing a stomach disorder.
