A salad made in a jar stays fresh for quite a while, making it a perfect fit for those grabbing lunch at the office or for those needing to prep meals for the family in advance, according to MasterChef judge Hector Jimenez-Bravo.
Ingredients:
- 20 ml of olive oil
- Salt/pepper to taste
- Juice of ½ lime
- 40 g cherry tomatoes
- 60 g corn
- 60 g red beans
- 15 g red onion
- 50 g cheese
- 10 g cilantro
- 25 g romaine lettuce
Directions:
Layer the ingredients in a jar starting with the dressing and ending with herbs and greens. Store in the refrigerator for freshness.
