Today, on July 7, it became known that an incident with the Sahand frigate near the Bandar Abbas pier occurred in Iran, reports Tasnim.
According to the Iranian state-run Mehr newspaper, the Sahand frigate, which was sent to one of the docks for repairs, lost its balance due to water penetration into the tanks.
The photo published by Mehr shows the ship half submerged in water, but the publication claims that it did not sink.
On May 19, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, along with other high-ranking officials, was involved in a plane crash. After a long search operation, Tehran officially announced his death.
