Russians suspend fighting in Kharkiv region and partially withdraw units
Russian forces have suspended their combat operations in the Kharkiv region. Additionally, due to significant losses, the occupiers are withdrawing their units for replenishment, the spokesperson of the operational-strategic grouping Khortytsia Nazar Voloshyn announced.
Voloshyn explained that the enemy had not been conducting offensive actions in the Kharkiv region over the past day or this morning.
"The enemy is trying to withdraw its units in Vovchansk, Tykhe, and Hlyboke because they have partially lost combat capability. The defense forces held their positions reliably and successfully defeated the enemy. Therefore, the enemy is partially withdrawing some units for replenishment because they are non-combat capable," said the spokesperson of the operational-strategic grouping Khortytsia.
Frontline situation
In May, the Russians launched offensive actions in the Kharkiv region. The occupiers planned to capture Vovchansk and advance towards Kharkiv from the direction of Lyptsi. However, the Russian plan failed.
However, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy's greatest activity is observed in another direction - Pokrovske. Today alone, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions more than 20 times there.
Russians have also intensified their activities in the area of Toretsk.
