Russians strike in Kharkiv city center: Residential area hit, casualties reported
Russian troops attacked Kharkiv again. Preliminarily, a residential area in the city center came under fire, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov.
At about 19:16, the head of the military administration wrote on his Telegram channel about the Russian attack on the city center.
"Preliminary - an area of dense residential buildings. As for the damage and victims, the information is being clarified," Terekhov said in his Telegram channel.
Updated at 19:27. According to Syniehubov, three people were injured in the strike on the central part of Kharkiv.
Updated at 19:39. Syniehubov said that the number of victims has increased to six.
Updated at 19:50. According to Terekhov, the number of injured has increased to 8.
Updated at 19:56. As of now, according to Terekhov, there is information about 11 wounded.
Syniehubov said that a 13-year-old boy was among the injured. He is hospitalized.

Earlier in the day, Russians hit the Epicenter hypermarket in Kharkiv which could have contained from 100 to more than 200 civilians, with two guided bombs. So far, 2 people have been killed and more than 30 injured, and about 10 people are still missing. Rescuers are working at the scene.

Kharkiv's central park also came under enemy fire today. The enemy shell did not explode, so there were no casualties. Rescuers are currently clearing the explosive object.
