On the night of February 8, Russian invaders shelled the town of Selydove in the Donetsk region. The attack killed one person and wounded seven others, states the head of the Donetsk City Military Administration Vadym Filashkin.
"At least one person was killed and seven wounded as a result of the night shelling of Selidove. Among the wounded is a child born in 2017," he said.
According to him, Russians fired seven times at the town. The attack damaged seven high-rise buildings, three private houses, three educational institutions, and an administrative building. In addition, eight cars were damaged.
"These are only preliminary results. We are establishing the exact extent of the damage," emphasized the head of the military administration.
Update, 10:17 a.m.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, three people were rescued from the rubble, and five were evacuated, including one child.

Later, Russia struck the town of Pokrovsk. As a result of the shelling, a blast wave damaged the roller shutter gate in the garage of the fire station.
The Russian army also shelled Toretsk on February 4. One person was killed and two were wounded.
