Russians prepare another offensive in Kharkiv region
On the contact line, the Russian troops are trapped in dugouts, as the soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade do not allow them to deploy. At the same time, the enemy continues to look for vulnerabilities in our defense, states Mykola Volokhov, commander of the Terra unit of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
The unit commander emphasized that the enemy continues to be active in the Kharkiv region.
“Well, on the one hand, he is active, on the other hand, he is a little bit dug in, let's say, in the ground, dug in dugouts, because we are not letting him deploy here, we are hitting his equipment, hitting his armor, tanks, and artillery, and they are not breathing as freely here as they were before we came here,” Volokhov said.
However, he notes that the enemy is not weak, they continue to press, continue to storm Ukrainian positions, and look for some weaknesses. Volokhov notes that currently, the Russians are not finding any weaknesses, moreover, the soldiers of the 3rd Brigade can sometimes even use counterattack maneuvers in order not to play by the rules of the enemy.
“In general, the situation remains difficult and tense. We have information that the enemy is concentrating its forces and it is difficult to say when, but there will be another attempt to move forward, because equipment and troops are being concentrated, which means they will be implemented where and how time will show,” the unit commander emphasized.
Enemy losses at the front
Ukrainian troops are neutralizing enemy personnel and equipment daily. In particular, over the past day, Russians have lost almost a thousand soldiers in the war in Ukraine.
Yesterday, on July 19, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed an enemy Su-25 aircraft in the Pokrovsk sector of the Donetsk region.
