Russian forces are attempting to identify a favorable area for repositioning their units, particularly at the junction of the Kharkiv and Belgorod regions, according to the Operational-Tactical Group (OTG) Kharkiv.

"Near the town of Murom, the occupiers were attempting to conduct reconnaissance of the terrain to find a more advantageous location for moving their units," the report states.

Nearby in Hlyboke, Russian troops are preparing their artillery and anti-tank systems for anticipated assaults from the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

In Vovchansk, measures are underway to restore the combat effectiveness of the Storm assault groups, with reports of sporadic movements of personnel, medical supplies, and provisions to replenish losses.

Over the past day, five combat encounters occurred in the Kharkiv direction near Starytsia and Vovchansk. The occupiers launched five airstrikes using ten guided bombs, along with 55 attacks by kamikaze drones and 401 artillery shellings against Ukrainian military positions.

Despite the intense assaults, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are effectively destroying enemy personnel and equipment. In one day, the enemy lost 112 soldiers, including 50 killed and 62 wounded.

Additionally, 77 units of military equipment were destroyed or damaged, including 8 artillery systems, 3 armored fighting vehicles, 24 drones, and one unit of aviation equipment. Also, 26 personnel shelters, 3 ammunition depots, and a launch position for drones were eliminated.
