Russians deployed about 200 thousand troops in southern Ukraine - Ukrainian Armed Forces
In southern Ukraine, the Russian army has concentrated about 200,000 troops. These forces include the occupation troops in Crimea, citing the spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Vladyslav Voloshyn.
Voloshyn emphasized that in each direction in the south, the enemy is distributing its forces according to where it is increasing its efforts, as well as where it is holding defensive positions.
"Currently, the enemy has not created offensive groupings, as reported by our intelligence; however, in several sectors, it is forming additional assault groups to conduct small-scale infantry assaults," the spokesperson said.
Is there threat of large-scale Russian offensive in southern Ukraine?
As recalled by the spokesperson for the Operational Command Tavria, Vladyslav Voloshyn, Russian occupiers are attempting to attack along the entire front line in southern Ukraine. However, the accumulation of occupying forces sufficient for large-scale offensive operations has not been recorded.
