Russian Tu-95 bombers launch missiles at Ukraine - Ukrainian Air Force
Russian Tu-95 strategic bombers were spotted in the airspace. The aircraft likely launched missiles toward Ukraine, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Tu-95 aircraft are in the air,” the military reported at 5:43 AM (Kyiv time).
Afterward, the Ukrainian Defense Forces stated that missile launches of X-101 cruise missiles were likely carried out by these Tu-95 aircraft in the Engels area.
The number of aircraft involved has not been clarified. However, monitoring groups reported six Tu-95MS strategic bombers.
According to the Telegram channel Nikolaevsky Vanek, four aircraft conducted launch maneuvers in two waves. If these launches were real, the X-101 missiles could enter Ukrainian airspace around 6:40 AM.
Monitoring groups also added that the Russian Tu-95MS continued moving toward the Caspian Sea.

Additionally, earlier reports indicated the takeoff of a Russian MiG-31K, a carrier of Kinzhal hypersonic missiles. This triggered a large-scale air alert in Ukraine.
Following this, the movement of a high-speed target was recorded toward Dnipropetrovsk, and explosions were heard in the city.
