Russian troops destroy their own settlements - Land Forces of Ukraine
Russian troops are destroying their people. In particular, they are wiping out the village of Sudzha in the Kursk region of Russia, according to the Land Forces of Ukraine.
As noted, the Russians are striking the city with guided aerial bombs (GABs), as well as firing artillery and kamikaze drones.
For example, on Friday, August 30, a Russian bomb hit a local kindergarten, and enemy aircraft struck houses in the private sector.
According to the Land Forces, about two hundred people are now left in the town of about 5,000 locals. The vast majority are people of retirement age. All of them, in accordance with international humanitarian law, are being helped by the Ukrainian military.
Representatives of the newly established Ukrainian military commandant's office have recently set up a water supply in Sudzha to provide the local population with access to drinking water.
“Previously, thanks to our military, this problem was solved with the help of water trucks and multi-cubic meters tanks,” the statement said.
The Army also added that Ukrainian soldiers provide medical assistance to civilians in Sudzha. In particular, at medical stabilizing posts, evacuation vehicles, and wherever there are wounded and sick people.
