Russian online voting system fails as a result of Ukraine's cyberattacks, sources
The online voting system of the sham elections in Russia is not working. This is the work of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence, according to RBC-Ukraine sources within the special services.
According to the sources, serious problems with the electronic voting system were detected on the day of the pseudo-presidential elections in Russia as a failure emerged. The mos.ru website is down again.
Sources within the special services indicate that this is the work of cyber experts from the Defense Intelligence.
Reports on failures started in the early morning. The Russian Central Election Commission claims that there are supposedly no problems, while the website is overloaded due to an "unprecedented number of people willing to vote," so the system is operating in queue mode.
Meanwhile, Russians have already panicked on social media failing to vote online, while Russian media actively spreading information about problems with the system.
Recently, the head of Rostelecom Mikhail Oseevsky claimed that Russia is supposedly waging war against the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
A source within the special services commented on this statement: "Russia's cyberwar against the DI continues."
Sham elections in Russia
The so-called presidential elections in Russia will last for three days - between March 15 and 17, 2024.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will be able to stay in power until at least 2030. Moreover, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has already stated that Putin would be re-elected with a result of 90% of the votes.
The DI reports that the Kremlin is collecting votes for dictator Putin even among dead souls - Russian invaders who died in the war against Ukraine.
