Russian losses in the war on August 6: Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminate 590 Russian soldiers
According to the Facebook page of the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff, in the past day, Ukrainian military forces have eliminated another 590 Russian soldiers. Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, approximately 249,700 units of personnel have been lost.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 15.07.23 were approximately:
- personnel ‒ about 237180 (+590) persons were liquidated,
- tanks ‒ 4102 (+5),
- APV ‒ 8019 (+11),
- artillery systems – 4463 (+14),
- MLRS – 680 (+0),
- anti-aircraft warfare systems ‒ 425 (+2),
- aircraft – 315 (+0),
- helicopters – 310 (+0),
- UAV operational-tactical level – 3807 (+24),
- cruise missiles ‒ 1273 (+0),
- warships / boats ‒ 18 (+0),
- vehicles and fuel tanks – 7036 (+17),
- special equipment ‒ 664 (+2).

Frontline situation
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian troops have conducted a counteroffensive operation in the western part of Zaporizhzhia region. Russian sources claim that our military forces are advancing near Orikhiv.
Specifically, the soldiers continue to carry out counteroffensive operations to the north and south of Bakhmut in Donetsk region.
