Russian Kh-101 missile crossed into Polish airspace during massive attack on Ukraine

On the night of July 30, a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile flew over Polish territory. Ukraine's acting Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said on X that the missile crossed Polish airspace during a large-scale Russian attack on Ukraine
“Overnight, a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile crossed into Poland as part of Russia’s massive strike against Ukraine, violating NATO airspace. ,” Sybiha said.

According to him, this is further proof that strengthening Ukraine’s air defense is important not only for protecting Ukrainians but also for protecting Europeans.
The acting foreign minister confirmed that Russia launched a total of 74 missiles at Ukraine, many of them ballistic, as well as hundreds of drones.
“War criminal Putin continues to wage war against women and children. Parents and three children were killed in the Dnipro region in a direct missile strike on an ordinary home. Two more children were saved from the rubble,” Sybiha said.
He added that another missile destroyed a residential building in Lviv. More than 30 people have been injured, and some people are still being searched for under the rubble.
“There are civilian casualties in Kyiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and other regions. At least 8 people have been killed across the country and dozens injured as a result of this strike,” Sybiha said.
Against this backdrop, he once again called on the international community to stop Russia’s terror before it is too late.
Polish authorities are leaning toward the theory that a Russian missile fell on Polish territory overnight, Wirtualna Polska reported.
Sources told the media outlet that bomb disposal experts are still examining the crash site near the village of Tarnawa-Kolonia, but preliminary data points to a Russian missile.
“Everything indicates that it was a Russian missile,” one source said.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that explosions were heard in Poland overnight on July 30. It was also reported that an unidentified object had fallen.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has called an emergency meeting amid the latest developments.
