There have been casualties and injuries in one of Kyiv districts following an air raid on the night of June 1, where debris from shot-down enemy targets damaged a clinic and a residential building. 3 people died, nine more were hospitalized. Among the victims are children.

This was reported by the mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko and the Kyiv Military Administration.

Klitschko reported that a total of seven victims from two districts of the capital were hospitalized, two more people were provided with emmergency assistance on the spot. However, he later clarified that, according to medical data, there are now 14 injured total: nine were hospitalized, and five received assistance on the spot.

"Emergency teams are still working at the sites," he added.

Three individuals were found dead in one of the districts, including two children.

The Kyiv Military Administration clarified that the ages of the killed children were between 5-6 and 12-13 years old.

The administration reported damage to a clinic due to falling debris.

"A nearby building was also damaged by the shrapnel, windows were blown out by the explosion. No fire. Information about the victims is being clarified," the report says.

The mayor noted that rescue teams extinguished fires caused by falling debris on the roadways in both districts.

On the night of June 1, an air raid alert was announced in Kyiv, as well as in several other regions. The Kyiv Regional Military Administration informed that the enemy attacked using missiles.

People could hear air defense systems in the Kyiv region, a series of explosions were heard in the capital, with the local authorities reporting debris falling in two districts of Kyiv.
