Russian forces launched a missile attack on Kharkiv during the night of June 5. Information regarding casualties and details of the impact are still being clarified, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

"Preliminarily, Russian forces struck Kharkiv with a missile, targeting the Slobidskyi district. Details are being clarified," the city’s mayor stated.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, also noted that the consequences of the Russian strike are still being assessed, and no reports of casualties have been received so far.

Russian strikes on Kharkiv

As a reminder, yesterday, a Russian attack drone hit the outskirts of Kharkiv. According to reports, the strike targeted a gas station in the Kyivskyi district.

In addition, on June 2, according to the State Emergency Service, Russian drones struck a postal terminal on the outskirts of Kharkiv overnight. A massive fire broke out in two warehouse buildings, and containers covering a total area of 3,000 square meters were set ablaze.

One person was killed and another injured as a result of a Russian drone strike on a civilian enterprise in Balakliia, Kharkiv region.
