Recently, the Armenian parliament supported a bill on the intention to join the EU. Now, Russia has made a demand, according to Komersant.

In particular, Russian Vice Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk stated that Armenia will have to make a choice between the European Union and the Russian-led Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

"I have reviewed the text of the law adopted in Armenia. It is like this - everything good, against everything bad, absolutely general words. But this is Armenia's internal matter... Of course, the country will need to make a decision and make this choice. Because having a foot in both camps will not do it," said Overchuk.
