Over the past day, December 27, there were 160 combat engagements along the front line. Russian forces attacked on almost all directions, with the heaviest fighting on the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, the enemy carried out two missile strikes and 39 airstrikes yesterday, using 41 missiles and dropping 101 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces conducted 3,540 attacks, including 66 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 6,824 kamikaze drones.

The aggressor also launched airstrikes, in particular on areas near the settlements of Starokasianivske in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Zaliznychne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over the past day, aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck six areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, three command posts, and one other critical Russian military facility.

Situation by directions

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian forces repelled one enemy attack. The enemy carried out one airstrike using three guided aerial bombs and conducted 135 shelling attacks.

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attempted seven times to break through Ukrainian defensive positions near the settlements of Starytsia, Vovchansk, Prylipka, and toward Lyman and Hryhorivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, four enemy attacks were recorded. Ukrainian defenders repelled assault actions toward Petropavlivka and Pishchane.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces launched 16 attacks, attempting to penetrate Ukrainian defenses near Serednie, Novoselivka, and toward Druzhkivka, Oleksandrivka, Lyman, Stavky, Ozerne, and Drobysheve.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped five attempts by the occupiers to advance in the area of Serebrianka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, three combat engagements were recorded near Vasiukivka, Predtechyne, and toward Bondarne.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 18 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, and toward Sofiivka and Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces stopped 32 enemy assault actions near the settlements of Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, Filiia, and toward Nove Shakhove, Dorozhnie, Rodynske, and Hryshyne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy conducted 16 attacks near Yalta, Vyshneve, Oleksandrohrad, Verbove, Pryvilne, Rybne, and toward Andriivka-Klevtsove.

In the Huliaipole direction, 19 enemy attacks were recorded near Huliaipole, Bilohiria, and toward Dobropillia.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy attacks near Shcherbaky and Stepove.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected.

Russia's losses in the war

According to the General Staff, since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost approximately 1,204,510 troops.

Over the past day alone, Russian losses amounted to 1,200 personnel.

Ukrainian forces also destroyed five tanks, eight armored combat vehicles, 15 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, 29 missiles, 688 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 166 units of enemy automotive equipment.
