As of 4:00 p.m. local time on December 14, a total of 95 combat engagements have taken place along the front line since the start of the day. The highest number of battles was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, where most Russian attacks have already been repelled, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy attack

Border areas of Ukraine came under Russian artillery fire, including the settlements of Volfyne, Khrinivka, Budky, Ryzhivka, Bila Bereza, Shalyhyne, Malushyne, Sydorivka, and Novovasylivka.

Situation on the front lines

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy attempted to conduct offensive actions once. Russian forces also carried out two airstrikes, dropping six guided aerial bombs, and launched 78 attacks, including three using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian troops repelled five enemy assaults near Synelnykove and Vovchansk.

Since the start of the day, the enemy has attacked three times in the Kupiansk direction toward Petropavlivka and Pishchane.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian units repelled six attacks. One engagement is still ongoing. Russian forces attacked near the settlements of Kolodiazi, Novoselivka, Serednie, and Zarichne.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks. Occupation forces attempted to advance near Yampil, Serebrianka, and Pereizne, with one battle still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, one combat engagement was recorded near Chasiv Yar.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian troops attempted to storm Ukrainian positions 17 times near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Yablunivka, and toward Sofiivka. Ukrainian forces repelled 15 attacks, while two engagements are still underway.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces carried out 33 attacks since the start of the day near the settlements of Shakhove, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, and toward Novopavlivka. Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 28 of these attacks, with fighting ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, Russian troops attempted to advance 13 times near Oleksandrohrad, Novoselivka, Sosnivka, Verbove, Krasnohirskyi, Pryvilne, Zlahoda, and Rybne.

In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy conducted nine assault actions. Ukrainian forces repelled attacks near Solodke and Huliaipole.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy launched an offensive toward Prymorske. Airstrikes hit the settlements of Novoboikivske and Rozumivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, one unsuccessful attempt by the enemy to approach Ukrainian positions was recorded near the Antonivskyi Bridge.

Russian army losses

Russia’s army continues to suffer daily losses in manpower and equipment while attempting to occupy Ukrainian territory. Over the past 24 hours, from December 13 to 14, Russian forces lost another 710 soldiers.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed seven armored combat vehicles, nine artillery systems, 81 vehicles, and 440 drones.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia’s total military losses have reached nearly 1.2 million personnel.
