Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 26

As of 10:00 PM on 26 November, there were 216 combat engagements on the frontline over the past day. The Pokrovsk direction was once again the hottest, according to the update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian strikes
Russian forces carried out 41 airstrikes during the day, dropping 103 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used 3,178 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,972 strikes on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
Frontline updates
In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian soldiers repelled two assault actions by Russian forces. The enemy also carried out two airstrikes, using nine guided bombs, and conducted 162 strikes, including two with multiple-launch rocket systems.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 11 times and were repelled near Vovchansk, Synelnykove, Ambarne, and Dvorichanske.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian units conducted five assault actions, attempting to break through toward the settlements of Pishchane and Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 43 times throughout the day near the settlements of Hrekivka, Novovodyane, Novoyehorivka, Novoselivka, Kopanky, Kolodyazi, Serednie, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Zarichne, and toward Lyman and Drobysheve. Ukrainian defenders are currently repelling Russian assaults in 14 locations.
In the Sloviansk direction, Russian forces made seven attempts to advance in the areas of Yampol, Serebrianka, Dronivka, Vyiimka, and Sakko i Vantsetti.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled four attacks in the area of Chasiv Yar and toward Predtechyne.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, Russian forces carried out 31 attacks on Defense Forces positions, concentrating their efforts near the settlements of Yablunivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, and toward Kostyantynivka and Sofiyivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian units attempted 49 breakthroughs of Ukrainian defenses near the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Fedorivka, Nykanorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Yalta, and Dachne. Three combat engagements continue as of now.
"The Defense Forces are holding back Russian assaults. The enemy is suffering heavy losses - today, 126 invaders were neutralized in this direction, including 94 irrecoverable losses. Our defenders destroyed one vehicle and 20 unmanned aerial vehicles, and struck an artillery system and ten enemy personnel shelters," the report states.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian units stopped 14 Russian attacks near the settlements of Ivanivka, Zelenyi Hai, Oleksiivka, Pryvilne, and Krasnohirske.
In the Hulyaipole direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 17 Russian attempts to advance near Zatyshshia, Solodke, Yablukove, Zelenyi Hai, and toward Hulyaipole.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian units stopped two Russian attacks near the settlement of Prymorske.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, no combat engagements have been recorded.
Russian losses
Russian forces continue losing hundreds, and sometimes more than a thousand soldiers, every day. For example, from 25 to 26 November, Russian losses in battles against Ukraine amounted to 980 soldiers. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 44 artillery systems, 124 vehicles, and 743 drones.
Since the start of the full-scale war, losses of the Russian army have already exceeded 1.1 million personnel.
