Over the past 24 hours on November 7, more than 170 combat engagements took place, while the intensity of airstrikes remained high, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

By the evening of November 7, Russian forces carried out 55 airstrikes and used 115 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed more than 3,000 kamikaze drones and conducted nearly 4,000 artillery and mortar strikes on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.

In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled four assaults, three of which are ongoing. The Russian forces also launched six airstrikes and 99 strikes in total, including four from multiple-launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, nine attacks were recorded near Vovchansk, Kamyanka, and Dvorichanske; two engagements remain ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian units halted six attacks near Kupiansk, Pishchane, and Andriivka; two battles are still in progress.

In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces stopped seven enemy attempts to break through near Kolodiazy, Torske, and Zarichne.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 14 attacks near Yampil, Dronivka, Hryhorivka, and Zvanivka.

In the Kramatorsk area, four unsuccessful assault attempts were recorded near Mynkivka and Stupochky.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian forces carried out 18 attacks near Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka, and Illinivka; one engagement continues.

The most intense fighting persisted in the Pokrovsk direction, 59 assault attempts were recorded since the start of the day. Ukrainian forces held the line near Shakhove, Fedorivka, Hrodivka, Pokrovsk, and other settlements.

Preliminary enemy losses are estimated at 110 personnel, roughly half of them irrecoverable. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed one multiple-launch rocket system, one vehicle, eight pieces of specialized equipment, and 15 drones.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, defenders stopped 14 attacks near Verbove, Pavlivka, and Novomykolaivka.

On the Huliaipole and Orikhiv directions, the Russian forces did not conduct ground offensives, but carried out several airstrikes on the areas of Yabluchne, Chervone, and Preobrazhenka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the Defense Forces repelled two attacks near the Antonivskyi bridge.

In the evening of November 7, air-raid alerts covered the eastern, northern, southern, and central regions of Ukraine. In Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions, a missile threat was recorded; a Kalibr cruise missile was tracked moving from Kherson toward Mykolaiv region.

Separately, the Pentagon intends to strengthen the US Army based on lessons from the war in Ukraine and plans to procure more than one million drones for US armed forces in the coming years.
