Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 3

Since the start of the day on November 3, a total of 151 combat engagements have taken place along the entire front line, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, today, Russian forces launched three missile strikes, using nine missiles, 53 airstrikes, and 103 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 3,251 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,875 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.
Frontlines update
In the Siversk–Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack by Russian forces. Since the start of the day, Russia has launched seven airstrikes, dropped 15 guided bombs, and conducted 145 artillery attacks, including two with multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian troops repelled six assaults near Vovchansk, Kamyanka, and Bologivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Defense Forces fended off 13 Russian attacks near Petropavlivka and toward Pishchane, Novoosynove, and Kurylivka; one battle is ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 10 times near Myrne, Novoselivka, and toward Drobysheve, Stavky, and Korovyi Yar. Fighting continues in two locations.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled seven assaults near Serebrianka and Vyimka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, no offensive actions were recorded.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian forces carried out 15 attacks, focusing their main efforts near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleschiivka, Sofiivka, Ivanopillia, Shcherbynivka, and Rusyn Yar. One engagement is still ongoing. Airstrikes targeted Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian assault units attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses 57 times near Shakhove, Volodymyrivka, Ivanivka, Nykonorivka, Novoekonomichne, Fedorivka, Nove Shakhove, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Razine, Chervonyi Lyman, Novopavlivka, Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and Dachne. Three engagements are ongoing.
Ukrainian forces neutralized 57 Russian soldiers (37 killed) and destroyed 11 UAVs, four vehicles, and two artillery systems, while damaging one armored vehicle and hitting 13 infantry shelters.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, Russia launched 16 attacks near Sichneve, Vorone, Stepove, Oleksiivka, Verbove, Pavlivka, Tsegelne, Uspenivka, and Krasnohirske. One battle is still underway. Airstrikes hit Demuryne, Velykomykhailivka, Orestopil, and Oleksiivka.
In the Huliaipole direction, there were eight clashes near Okhotnyche, three of which continue. Airstrikes also hit Malynivka and Chervone.
In the Orikhiv direction, Russia attacked twice near Stepnohirsk and Stepove.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces conducted two assaults near the Antonivskyi Bridge, with Mykolaivka coming under airstrike.
The situation in other directions remained largely unchanged.
Russian losses
Over the past day, Russian forces lost 1,160 personnel, five tanks, six armored vehicles, 45 artillery systems, two MLRS units, 383 tactical UAVs, one missile, 121 vehicles, and two pieces of special equipment.
