Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of Оctober 25

As of 10:00 PM on October 25, a total of 158 combat engagements had taken place along the front line, with more than one-third occurring in the Pokrovsk direction, according to an update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian strikes on Ukraine
Throughout the day, Russian forces launched one missile strike and 49 airstrikes, deploying six missiles and dropping 99 guided bombs. In addition, they used 1,819 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,021 artillery and mortar attacks targeting Ukrainian positions and populated areas.
Frontline updates
In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian forces repelled four assaults, with one battle still ongoing. The enemy launched nine airstrikes, dropping 17 guided bombs, and conducted 119 attacks, including one with multiple rocket launchers.
In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions nine times near Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe, and toward Bolohivka, Kolodiazne, and Dvorichanske. One engagement continues.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian units attempted seven assaults toward Pishchane and Bohuslavka; one attack is still underway.
In the Lyman direction, invaders attacked 11 times near Hrekivka, Serednie, Novoselivka, Zarichne, Torske, and toward Drobysheve and Korovyi Yar. Three clashes continue.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy tried to advance three times near Yampil, Serebrianka, and Siversk. Two engagements are ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one engagement was recorded as Russian troops attempted to advance near Stupochky.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian forces launched 21 assaults, concentrating their efforts near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Kostiantynivka and Sofiivka. One clash continues.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces attempted 65 assaults near Shakhove, Volodymyrivka, Pankivka, Maiak, Sukhyi Yar, Zvirove, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novi Ekonomichne, Chervonyi Lyman, Promin, Balahan, Novopavlivka, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Filiia, and Dachne. Fighting continues in several areas.
"Defense Forces are holding back enemy assaults. Russia is suffering heavy losses; 76 occupiers were neutralized today, including 60 killed. Our defenders destroyed one armored personnel carrier, one anti-tank weapon, two UAVs, two pieces of special equipment, and one enemy personnel shelter. In addition, Ukrainian forces struck a UAV control post, an armored vehicle, and 13 personnel shelters," the General Staff reported.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 15 attacks near Sosnivka, Oleksiivka, Novovasylivske, Stepove, Novohryhorivka, Pavlivka, Zlahoda, and toward Rybnе; two battles continue.
In the Huliaipole direction, defenders repelled three assaults near Malynivka, while the enemy carried out airstrikes on Danylivka, Pokrovske, Bratske, and Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks near Stepove, Kamianе, Stepnohirsk, and toward Novoandriivka. Enemy aircraft also struck near Pavlivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces made two attempts to advance near the Antonivskyi Bridge, and Kozatske suffered an airstrike.
Russian losses
Over the previous day (October 24–25), Russian forces lost 910 personnel, four tanks, 15 artillery systems, and 80 vehicles.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, total Russian losses in Ukraine have exceeded 1.1 million killed and wounded.
