As of 10:00 PM on September 3, there were 147 combat clashes on the frontline during the day. One-third of the fighting took place in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian strikes

On August 3, Russian forces launched 4 missile strikes and 51 airstrikes, used 28 missiles, and dropped 80 guided bombs. In addition, they employed 2,069 Shahed-type drones and carried out 3,574 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements.

Frontlines update

In the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled five attacks by Russian forces. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has carried out 8 airstrikes, dropped 24 guided bombs, and launched 243 artillery strikes, including three with multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian troops stopped eight attacks near Vovchansk and toward Kutkivka, while one clash is still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces conducted five offensive actions near Zahryzove and toward Kupiansk and Petropavlivka. One clash is still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 34 times near Novomykhailivka, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Torske, and Serebrianka, as well as toward Novyi Myr, Shandryholove, Drobysheve, Yampil, Dronivka, and Siversk. Three clashes are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, the defense forces repelled five attacks near Hryhorivka and toward Serebrianka and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, seven clashes have been recorded so far. Russian forces attempted to advance toward Pazeno and Stupochky. One battle is still ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions five times, concentrating efforts near Dyliivka, Shcherbynivka, Katerynivka, and toward Pleshchiivka and Poltavka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian assault units attempted to break through defenses 49 times near Shakhove, Zapovidne, Zatyshok, Fedorivka, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Orikhove, as well as toward Novyi Donbas, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Promin, Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Molodetske. Four clashes are still ongoing.

"Today in this direction, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated 131 Russian troops, including 84 irreversibly. They also destroyed three motorcycles, three vehicles, one special equipment unit, one cannon, and 68 drones, while damaging a motorcycle, a cannon, and six shelters for Russian personnel," the report said.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces attacked 10 times near Yalta, Zelenyi Hai, Voskresenka, Komyshuvakha, and toward Novomykhailivka. One clash is still ongoing.

In the Hulyaipole direction, Russian forces have not carried out offensive actions since the beginning of the day.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces attempted twice to break through Ukrainian defenses toward Novodanylivka and Plavni.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces attacked once toward Antonivka.

In other directions, the situation has not changed significantly.

Russian losses

From September 2 to 3, Russia lost another 780 soldiers in battles against Ukraine. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 41 artillery systems, 338 drones, and 112 vehicles.

Since the start of the full-scale war, Russian military losses have already reached nearly 1.1 million personnel.
