As of 10:00 PM Kyiv time on June 27, a total of 117 combat engagements were recorded on the front line over the past day, nearly half of them concentrated in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces launched 4 missile strikes and 33 airstrikes on Ukrainian military positions and civilian settlements, using 12 missiles and 49 guided aerial bombs.

A total of 1,375 kamikaze drone attacks and 3,875 artillery strikes were recorded.

Frontline update

Seventeen combat clashes occurred in the Northern-Slobozhanske and Kursk directions, with three still ongoing. Throughout the day, Russian forces carried out 323 artillery strikes, including two using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and conducted 12 airstrikes with 22 guided bombs.

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks near Vovchansk, Fiholivka, and toward Petro-Ivanivka and Dovhenke.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops launched five assaults near Pishchane, Kindrashivka, and toward Novoplatonivka and Petropavlivka. Ukrainian defense forces repelled two of them, with three engagements still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces launched 17 attacks attempting to advance near Lypove, Shyykivka, Novosergiivka, Ridkodub, Torske, and toward Hlushchenkove, Hrekivka, Shandryholove, and Novyi Mir. One engagement is still underway.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped two Russian assaults near Ivano-Darivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian troops launched five attacks near Markove, Predtechyne, and toward Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces attempted 17 attacks near Yablunivka, Dyliivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Rusyn Yar, Shcherbynivka, and Novospaske.

The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian forces conducted 53 assault and offensive operations throughout the day. Russian troops were highly active near Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Novosergiivka, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Troitske, and toward Volodymyrivka, Myrnohrad, Serhiivka, Novopidhorodne, Poltavka, Oleksiivka, Myrne, and Novopavlivka.

One engagement is still ongoing. Russian guided aerial bombs struck Poltavka, Popiv Yar, Pokrovsk, Orikhove, and Myrnohrad.

"According to preliminary estimates, Ukrainian forces in this direction eliminated 104 Russian troops, including 63 irrecoverable losses. Nine vehicles, seven motorcycles, and four drones were also destroyed," the report states.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled ten attacks near Shevchenko, Fedorivka, and toward Zaporizhzhia, Myrne, Perebudova, Yalta, and Komar. Six clashes remain ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, Russian forces did not carry out offensive actions.

In the Orikhiv direction, supported by aviation, Russian forces attempted three attacks near Kamianske but were unsuccessful.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian troops made two unsuccessful attempts to advance.
