Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of May 15

Over the past day, May 14, there were 168 combat clashes at the front. The enemy exerted the most pressure in the Pokrovsk direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
"Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck three areas where enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated; four artillery systems; one radar station; and nine other important enemy targets," the General Staff stated.
Situation by directions
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces carried out offensive actions three times near the settlements of Vovchansk and Kamianka.
In the Kupiansk direction, one enemy attack was recorded near Hlushkivka.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops attacked 24 times. They attempted to advance near the settlements of Nova Kruhliakivka, Lozova, Novoyehorivka, and others.
In the Siversk direction, in the areas of the settlements of Verkhniokamianske and Bilohorivka, the enemy attacked Ukraine's Defense Forces positions five times.
In the Kramatorsk direction, eight combat clashes were recorded near the settlements of Chasiv Yar, Hryhorivka, Bila Hora, and Kurdiumivka.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Krymske, and Dyliivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukraine's Defense Forces repelled 74 assault and offensive actions by Russian troops in the areas of the settlements of Stara Mykolaivka, Yelyzavetivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Kotliarivka, and Andriivka.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked 26 times near the settlements of Bahatyr, Novopil, Burlatske, and Vilne Pole.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy assaults in the area of Stepove.
In the Prydniprovske direction, Ukraine's Defense Forces stopped one attempt by Russians to advance.
In the Kursk direction, there were nine combat clashes over the past day.
Russian losses
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost over 970,000 troops. Just in the past day, Ukraine's Defense Forces eliminated another 1,220 occupiers and also destroyed:
