Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of July 14

Over the past day, July 13, there were 160 clashes on the front lines. The highest number of Russian attacks occurred in the directions of Pokrovsk, Vremiivsk, and Kupiansk, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00.
"During the past day, July 13, there were 160 combat clashes reported. Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes on Ukrainian positions and inhabited areas, deploying three rockets, as well as 71 airstrikes using 122 mm caliber bombs," the statement reads.
Additionally, the occupiers conducted over 4,500 shellings, including 140 from multiple rocket launcher systems.
Situation on specific directions
In the Kharkiv direction, there were 13 combat clashes in the areas near the towns of Hlyboke and Vovchansk.
The Kupiansk direction saw 18 attacks within the day. Ukrainian defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Synkivka, Vilshana, Petropavlivka, Novoselivka, Pishchane, Berestove, and Stelmakhivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 16 times near Hrekivka, Makiivka, and Terny.
In the Siversky direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 Russian invaders' attacks near Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, and Vyimka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian army attacked 12 times near Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, Klyshchiivka, and Andriivka.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched 13 attacks near Pivnichne, New York, and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 40 assaults in the areas of Progress, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Lozuvatske, Novoselivka Persha, and Yasnobrodivka, where Russians, supported by aviation, attempted to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions. The highest concentration of enemy attacks was near Novooleksandrivka.
In the Kurakhiv direction, Ukrainian defenses repelled 16 attacks near Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, Karlivka, and Pobeda, where the enemy sought to breach Ukrainian defense lines.
In the Vremivka direction, the enemy conducted 18 assaults on Ukrainian positions near Urozhaine, Vodiane, Makarove, Velyka Novosilka, and Kostiantynivka.
In the Orikhiv and Prydniprovskyi direction, the Russian army continues attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defense forces from their positions. Two Russian attacks near Mala Tokmachka and Kozachy Lagery were unsuccessful.
In the Huliaipole direction, the operational situation remains without significant changes.
No signs of offensive groupings formation by the enemy were observed on the Volyn and Polissia directions.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains military presence, conducts shelling of inhabited areas from Russian territory, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.
Russian losses in Ukraine
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue active operations, causing significant losses in personnel and equipment to the occupying forces along the entire front line.
Overall, during the past day, Russian invaders' losses amounted to 1,320 personnel. The enemy also lost seven tanks, 32 armored combat vehicles, 46 artillery systems, one air defense system, 39 operational-tactical UAVs, 77 vehicles, and ten units of special equipment.
