Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 25 Russian attacks in the Avdiivka direction, held their positions, and repelled Rissian occupation troops' assaults in the Kherson direction. The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three Su-34 fighter-bombers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

Over the past day, 83 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy launched 3 missile and 91 air strikes and fired 142 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in injuries and deaths among the civilian population. Multi-storey and private houses, a church, and other civilian infrastructure facilities were destroyed and damaged.

At night, the Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine using a Shahed-136/131 UAV. Information about this attack is being clarified.

The following settlements were hit by air strikes:

  • Bolohivka, Mytrofanivka in the Kharkiv region;
  • Nadiia, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region;
  • Terny, Yampolivka, Viroliubivka, Mykolaivka, Klishchiivka, Novoyehorivka, Oleksandropil, Novooleksandrivka, Ocheretyne, Novobakhmutivka, Sukha Balka, Zhelanne, Solovyove, Semenivka, Kostiantynivka, Vodiane, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region;
  • Novodarivka, Levadne, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Novodanylivka, Yurkivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

Situation at frontlines

The operational situation remains unchanged in the Volyn and Polissya directions.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the Russians maintain a military presence in the border areas, conduct sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas and increase the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks near Petropavlivka and Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 12 Russian attacks near Terny and Yampolivka in the Donetsk region and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled two Russian attacks near Ivanivske and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 Russian attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where Russians tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops 30 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled one enemy attack near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their positions and repel the attacks of the occupation forces. Despite significant losses, the enemy continues to try to drive our units from their positions.

Over the past day, Russians made four unsuccessful assaults on the positions of Ukrainian troops on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

Ukrainian soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

Russian losses

Over the past day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 10 areas of concentration of enemy personnel.

Also, units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three Su-34 fighter-bombers.

Ukrainian missile troops struck at:

  • 3 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment;
  • 3 BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers
  • 2 artillery units;
  • 2 control points;
  • 1 ammunition depot;
  • 1 enemy electronic warfare system.

The total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine is 413,760.
