Ukrainian troops repelled 17 enemy attacks in the Kupiansk direction and are exhausting the enemy in the Kherson direction. Missile units hit 6 areas of enemy concentration, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

Over the past day, 81 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy launched 11 missiles and 34 air strikes and fired 62 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas.

Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private homes and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Air strikes were carried out in:

  • Leonivka, Chervony Khutir in Chernihiv region;
  • Synkivka in Kharkiv region;
  • Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region;
  • Heorhiivka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

About 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Situation at the frontlines

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissya directions remains without significant changes.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka, Kharkiv region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defense of our troops.

In the Lyman direction, the occupants did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 11 enemy attacks near the settlements of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers.

The defense forces repelled 25 enemy attacks east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, and Avdiivka, as well as 15 attacks near Severne, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, the Defense Forces continued to hold back the enemy in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled four attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the invaders did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled all enemy attacks in the areas of Robotyne and northwest of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers continue to expand their bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the enemy continues to try to drive our units from their positions.

Over the past day, the enemy made 17 unsuccessful assault attacks, received a worthy rebuff, and retreated.

Enemy losses

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 18 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment and 5 enemy anti-aircraft missile systems. Air defense also destroyed 1 X-59 guided missile and 2 enemy reconnaissance UAVs.

The missile troops hit 6 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, a radar station, 2 artillery pieces, 3 ammunition depots, and an enemy control center.

As a reminder, the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion is 352,390.
