Russia strikes Nova Poshta post office in Sloviansk of Donetsk region

Last night, on July 2, the Russian army attacked a Nova Poshta post office in Sloviansk, Donetsk region, with a strike drone, Head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, Vadym Liakh, reports.
"Another UAV attack. A hit on the Nova Poshta terminal on Literaturna Street, as well as in the area of Toretsko-Naberezhna Street," reported the Head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration.
What Nova Poshta says
According to the company's press service, at night the Russians destroyed the terminal in the city with drones. Employees were not injured.
The amount of damage is being clarified. At this time, reports indicate that approximately 300 parcels were destroyed and 5,000 survived. Police and the State Emergency Service are working at the scene.
"Nova Poshta is promptly reorganizing parcel sorting and logistics, but delays are possible in shipments from Sloviansk and to the city from all regions of Ukraine. We are contacting clients to arrange compensation payments," the company added.
Russian strikes on Nova Poshta
Russian troops regularly attack civilian infrastructure in frontline cities, including Nova Poshta branches and terminals.
For example, on the night of June 3, Russian drones attacked a Nova Poshta terminal near Kharkiv.
"Due to the enemy Shahed attack, part of the Nova Poshta sorting terminal in the Kharkiv region was destroyed. None of our colleagues were injured. The fire was extinguished," the company's statement said.
Nova Poshta also added that they are contacting clients whose parcels were destroyed regarding compensation.
