Russian occupants shelled critical infrastructure facilities in the Kherson region. Russia also targeted houses, a gas pipeline, and a car, according to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

Over the past day, at least 15 settlements in the Kherson region, including the city of Kherson, came under Russian fire and air strikes.

The Russian invaders attacked critical infrastructure, administrative buildings, and residential areas, including 16 private houses. According to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the Russian occupiers damaged a gas pipeline, outbuildings, garages, cars, a rescue vehicle, and agricultural machinery.

As a result of the Russian attacks, 1 person was killed and 13 others were injured, including a child.

Prokudin notes that on the night of 15 August, Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed 8 Shaheds in the Kherson region.

Last night, the Russian army attacked Ukraine once again. The Russian invaders fired 29 Shaheds and three Kh-59 guided missiles at Ukraine. The Ukrainian defenders destroyed all Russian drones.

Ukrainian Air Defense Forces were operating in Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported the launch of the Shaheds on the evening of 14 August. At night, explosions were heard in the Kyiv region, as well as in Poltava and Cherkasy regions. There were reports on the Internet about the alleged work of air defense.
