The newest battlefield figures reveal another costly day for Russian forces

Ukraine has reported another day of heavy Russian losses on the battlefield, with hundreds of troops killed or wounded and dozens of pieces of military equipment destroyed or damaged.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to September 18, 2026, are estimated to be:

- Armored fighting vehicles ‒ 25,352 (+7)
- Special equipment ‒ 4,701 (+4)
- Vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 150,442 (+424)

Frontline situation
Ukraine reported successful strikes on Russian military targets, hitting two S-400 launchers, drone storage and launch facilities, logistics depots, and areas where Russian troops were concentrated.
Russia, meanwhile, carried out a large-scale overnight missile and drone attack across seven Ukrainian regions, injuring at least 26 people, including four children.
