Russian losses in the war in Ukraine as of Thursday morning, March 7, amounted to 1,160 occupiers, with the total number of losses of the Russian army since the invasion beginning totaling 421,430 military personnel. Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 51 Russian armored personnel vehicles, 42 artillery systems, and 42 drones, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to March 7, 2024 are estimated as follows:
- Personnel: about 421,430 (+1,160) individuals;
- Tanks: 6,695 (+17) units;
- APV (Armored personnel vehicles): 12,779 (+51) units;
- Artillery systems: 10,350 (+42) units;
- MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systemy): 1,009 (+1) unit;
- Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 701 units;
- Aircraft: 347 units;
- Helicopters: 325 units;
- UAV operational-tactical: 7,963 (+42) units;
- Cruise missiles: 1,919 (+1) units;
- Warships/boats: 26 units;
- Submarines: 1 unit;
- Vehicles and fuel tankers: 13,532 (+53) units;
- Special equipment: 1,647 (+5) units.
