Russia's losses in Ukraine as of March 20: +1,400 troops, 13 tanks

Over the past day, from March 19 to 20, Russian occupiers lost 1,400 soldiers on the front line. In total, Russia's losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have already reached nearly 900,000 military personnel, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to March 20, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 899,470 (+1,400) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 10,377 (+13);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 21,561 (+38;
- artillery systems - 24,747 (+43);
- MLRS - 1,322 (+2)
- air defense systems - 1,110 (+3);
- aircraft - 370;
- helicopters - 331;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 29,895 (+179);
- cruise missiles - 3,121;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and tanks - 41,094 (+91);
- special equipment - 3,870.
As of the evening of March 19, approximately 127 combat clashes were recorded on the front. The enemy attacked most actively in the Pokrovsk direction - 44 times.
In particular, the Russian attacks were in the areas of the settlements of Tarasivka, Elyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Kotlyne, Zviryache, Vdale, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Oleksiivka, Valentynivka, Andriivka and in the direction of Serhiivka.
