Russian losses in the war in Ukraine as of Tuesday morning, March 12, amounted to 910 occupiers, with the total number of losses of the Russian army since the invasion beginning totaling 425,890 military personnel. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 44 Russian vehicles, 43 drones, and 27 armored vehicles, according to the Strategic Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Frontline situation
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Ukrainian Armed Forces have made slight advances towards the northern part of Bohdanivka (northwest of Bakhmut), although Ukrainian forces have likely not made recent advances.
There were 72 combat clashes on the front line during the past day.
Missile units have struck two areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, as well as the Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system and the 1L219 Zoopark counter-battery radar complex.
