Russian losses in the war in Ukraine by Thursday morning, March 14, amounted to 970 occupiers, with the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion reaching 427,840 military personnel. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 15 enemy drones, 17 armored vehicles, and one missile, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to March 14, 2024 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: about 427,840 (+970) individuals
  • Tanks: 6,757 (+5) units
  • APV (Armored personnel vehicles): 12,938 (+17) units
  • Artillery systems: 10,565 (+11) units
  • MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems): 1,017 units

Frontline situations

There were 79 armed clashes on the frontlines during the past day in Ukraine. The enemy launched attacks on three fronts in the Donetsk region.

According to a report from the Institute for the Study of War, positional battles took place on the Kupiansk and Kreminna fronts, on the Bakhmut front near the administrative border of the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, near Robotyne, and near Krynky. Russian occupiers unsuccessfully attempted a raid on the right bank of the Kherson region and made slight progress on the Avdiivka front.
