Ukraine's Defense Forces eliminated another 1,300 Russian occupiers in the past day, bringing the total losses of the enemy army's personnel to approximately 515,000 soldiers since the beginning of the large-scale invasion. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 22 Russian tanks, 40 armored vehicles, and 48 artillery systems, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to June 6, 2024, are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: 515,000 (+1,300) eliminated
  • Tanks: 7,828 (+22)
  • APV (Armored personnel vehicles): 15,076 (+40)
  • Artillery systems: 13,433 (+48)
  • MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems): 13,433 (+48)
  • Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 831 (+1)

  • Helicopters: 326
  • UAV operational-tactical level: 10,846 (+41)
  • Cruise missiles: 2,270

Frontline situation

Earlier, in the nightly operational update, the General Staff informed that there were 85 combat engagements on the frontline on June 5.

Moreover, military command reported that in the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders are continuously attempting to penetrate the defenses of Ukrainian defenders.
