Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 24: +1,050 troops and 24 artillery systems

Over the past 24 hours, from July 23 to 24, the Russian army lost another 1,050 Russian soldiers and three tanks at the front, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to July 24, 2025, are approximately:
- personnel - nearly 1,046,270 (+1,050)) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 11,046 (+5);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 23,047 (+10);
- artillery systems - 30,746 (+24);
- MLRS - 1,446;
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,199;
- aircraft - 421;
- helicopters - 340;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 47,638 (+86);
- cruise missiles - 3,533 (+18);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 56,137 (+96);
- special equipment - 3,935).
Frontline situation on July 23
Ukraine's General Staff reported that on July 23, 124 combat clashes took place on the front. The Russian troops are attacking the most in the Pokrovsk direction.
According to ISW, Russian forces have recently advanced in the north of Sumy and in the west of Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as in the Borovaya region.
