As of January 10, Russian losses over the past day amounted to 880 personnel. The Defense Forces also destroyed more than 650 enemy drones, according to the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to January 10, 2026, are estimated to be:

As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, January 9, Ukraine's Defense Forces repelled 165 attacks by Russian invaders. The enemy used missiles, aviation, drones, and artillery, but Ukrainian defenders inflicted significant losses.

The most intense fighting traditionally took place in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy carried out 39 attacks in the areas of Razine, Shakhove, Nykonorivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Novopavlivka, and Filiia. The Defense Forces eliminated 85 occupiers (60 irreversibly), as well as a tank, an MLRS, 68 drones, and other enemy equipment.
