From January 18 to 19, Russian forces suffered 1,580 soldier casualties on the front lines. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 18 armored vehicles, 36 drones, and 76 units of automotive equipment, according to a statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to January 19, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 818 740 (+1580) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 9811 (+8);
  • armored personnel vehicle - 20 412 (+18);
  • artillery systems - 22 055 (+15);
  • MLRS - 1,262;
  • anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,046;
  • aircraft - 369;
  • helicopters - 331;
  • UAV operational-tactical level- 22 615 (+36);
  • cruise missiles - 3,051 (+2);
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 34 401 (+76);
  • special equipment - 3700 (+1).

As of the evening of January 18, 176 combat engagements took place on the front lines within 24 hours. The highest number of battles, 84, was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction.
